PMP8363: TPS2511 connection?

Hi,

I have a quesion about the schematic of the second circuit, the last part with the resistor net (R2-6). What values here and also aren´t you using the TPS2511? How to you connect this in to the cirucit since it must have around 5V to operate?

Hi Daniel,

This particular design does not use the TPS2511. The place holders are there for resistors to program voltage levels on the D+/D- lines according to what signature you want the design to show. This was simply done to allow flexibility on the design.

Okey thanks for the answear.
I would like to use this for a smartphone or tablet. How is the best or just a good way to design the end of the second circuit?

Hi Daniel,

If you want you can use the TPS2511. It simply connects in series with the output of the flyback and the USB connector. For an example you can look at PMP9594.
