Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

The WEBENCH Designer does runs and supports 4.5V-5.0V input for 3.3V and 1.7A output on the LMZ12002 but not the LMZ12002EXT; however, at higher minimum input voltage, say 5.4V, the WEBENCH Designer runs fine on LMZ12002EXT.

1) Does it mean I should not use the LMZ12002EXT for such a low input voltage range???

Thanks for contacting us. For the condition mentioned above ,device LMZ12002EXT is exceeding maximum duty cycle.
