Hi, in the simulation using WEBENCH, it is said that with an output of 0.5A (6-10V in and 12V out), it still will require an inductor
with saturation of 7A! How is that possible? Abt 2-3A would suffice?

In Webench for the condition mentioned above inductor getting selected has saturation current of 1.6 A as shown in image below.
As per data sheet of selected inductor ,saturation current is 1.6 A as shown in image.
Could you please share your design by following steps mentioned in below image ?
