Hi. My client has a need to develop a DC arc detection system for 24 VDC power distribution lines.

We are looking for something like the: SM73201-Arc-Eval Photo-voltaic arc detection system, but it seems that development system is no longer available or supported? (please confirm)

I understand from these pages there may be reference designs and software support for the SM7301 device. How can I locate that? In particular, relating to arc detection signatures.

    Hello Grant,

    Welcome to the TI E2E Community!

    You are correct; the DC Arc system is no longer available or supported.

    The SM73201 ADC is still an active device and supported as a general purpose ADC, but all of the specific ARC detection collateral, including software, is now obsolete.

    We may develop new reference designs in the future, but as of today, we do not have anything else available.
