TIDA-020000: CSI-2 + audio serializer

Hi,

I am looking to develop a camera similar to the TIDA-020000. However one of the requirements is an on board microphone. My issue is how to get audio over the FPD-Link to the receiver. I only want to use a single coax cable for signal + power.

I have considered ways of streaming the audio back over the GPIO pins and converting it to an i2s interface for the receiver as the receiver has CSI-2 for video and I2S for audio. I have yet to come up with something simple.

It does not seem that TI has a CSI + I2S serializer IC?

Any suggestions?
