LP-CC2652R7: How do I calculate total packets delivered from a particular broadcaster to observer?

I have 2 launchpads with me and one is acting as a broadcaster and another as observer in a connectionless BLE network. I want to calculate total packets successfully received from the broadcaster launchpad in different environments to the observer launchpad. Is it possible to store this information and what APIs do I need to use to access this information ?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out.

There is no specific API to do what you are asking for.

Make sure to:

- disable the duplicate filter (so you can receive all the advertisements from all the devices) => this should be done using SysConfig

- use your own counter when you have identified the advertiser you want

Thanks for the response. I am new to BLE so can you suggest under which API do I need to setup the counter to perform the same action?

Hi,

Assuming you are using simple_central, I guess you could manage to do this under "case SC_EVT_ADV_REPORT:".
