CC2340R5: get decimal from Temperature_getTemperature

Hi TI members,

Below is my building environment:

We would like to get decimals of temperature from Temperature_getTemperature().

Is it available? If so, how can we set the inputs for Temperature_getTemperature()?

Hi YW,

the function

int16_t Temperature_getTemperature(void);

returns the temperature in °C as integer.

Thus you do not have to reconfigure anything.

If you want to understand how it works, you can have a look into our example temperatureNotify within the drivers example folder.

Hi Alex,

How about the digits after the decimal point?

Can I assign the output of Temperature_getTemperature(void) to a float value and show the temperature as something like 35.5 °C?

Hi YW,

As far as I know this is not possible. As the function does not return after digit numbers.
