Tool/software:
I'm trying to use Energy Trace on one of my projects and I can't figure out how to enable it. No matter what I do it is always disabled. For reference, I'm running my code on a LP-EM-CC2340R5 using a LP-XDS110ET debugger connected to my Windows 10 PC via a USB cable. I'm using the latest version to CCS Theia (v1.5.1.3). Here's my list of extensions and their version number too:
Hi Rob,
I am observing similar results from my setup, however not if using a SimpleLink F2 SDK CC13XX / CC26XX product. The CCS Theia User's Guide indicates that the SimpleLink F3 SDK's CC23XX product line is not yet supported with this IDE. I will loop in a CCS expert to confirm and provide plausible timelines.

Ryan
Hi Ryan,
Thank you for your prompt response. I tried using CCS (v20.0.0) too and experienced identical behavior. I've seen posts where user's are able to use energy trace in their setups so this is very confusing to me.
I tried using EnergyTrace using CCS 20 with my LP-EM-CC2340R5 + LPXDS110ET on my Windows 10 PC. It seems to work for me.
Can you try cleaning the caches mentioned in the below FAQ?
Also try deleting the launch configuration:
Thanks
