Adding Battery Service in SensorTag project using IAR

Have you defined the functions at all? in example an .h file?

Yes. This is my sensorTag.h file and it seems like all the needed functions are included

No, I meant the Batt_AddService etc.

I can only assume that you have the functions, in the error messages, implemented somewhere. These need to be defined. In example battservice.h. Have you included that file in your project?

I have used following: 

$PROJ_DIR$\..\..\Profiles\Batt
$PROJ_DIR$\..\..\Profiles\HIDDev

In the Project --> Options --> Preprocessor. But even though I'm doing that, both batteryservice and hiDDev files do not occur in the PROJECT folder in my SensorTag workspace.

Have you "included" the files in sensortag.c? Ex;

#include "battservice.h"

You probably also need to include the actual files to the IAR workspace (right-click -> Add files or something like that)

Yes. The battservice.h is actually included in the SensorTag.c file. 

When I'm adding both the battservice.c and battservice.h files in the PROFILES folder like the way you proposed, following error occurs: 

and when I'm adding the hiddev.c and hiddev.h files afterwards in the same folder, it still returns the same error:

I just solved the problem. I should add both the battservice.c and corresponding .h files. But now, it returns following errors: 

Hey Osman,

If you look at the error message, you see that the compiler is looking for hiddev.h in a set of folders, where it cannot find it. The reason is probably because the file is located in some other folder, i'd say at;

C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC254x-1.4.0\Projects\ble\Profiles\HIDDev

Have you really included $PROJ_DIR$\..\..\Profiles\HIDDev as you already mentioned?

Just curious, why are you adding the hiddev service at all?
