Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2541
I am using an CC2541EMK with a SmartRF05 board and using SmartRF Studio 7. I want to measure the TX signal with a VSA, is there a way to turn the frequency hopping off? I don't see any registers.
thanks

When controlling a CC2541 with SmartRF Studio, frequency hopping is not used.
- What type of signal do you want to measure (modulated, not modulated, packets or not)
- Why do you think you have frequency hopping?
- Please post a screenshot of how you use Studio today
Is there a way to turn off frequency hopping?

Any update?
Connecting the transmit board to a VSA shows freq hopping. So I guess if the TX is not connected to the RXer, it will freq hop trying to make a connection.
SmartRF studio does not do frequency hopping. Why do you believe that what you see on the VNA is hopping?
With the TX board connected to a VSA, I can definitely see the signal is freq hopping.
Do you have a screenshot showing this and a screenshot of how you set up SmartRF Studio for this measurement?
