TRF7970A: Apple VAS configuration

Hi Experts,

Good day.

We have a client that is using the TRF7970ARHBR component and need to set it up with the Apple VAS configuration.
Customer worked in the past with Apple VAS and the NFC needs an extra layer on top of the standards in other to work. They want to confirm, hence asking any documentation about how to set up the values for the encryption.

Hello Archie,

we don't have any documentation on Apple VAS specific implementation. As you said, it would be an additional software layer on top of a customized controller firmware, which we don't know. I'm not sure if we can support that. I will check if I can figure out the requirements for Apple VAS and if it can be broken down to some use cases, we have examples for. But I think it will take me a while to do that. I will give an update in two days.

Hi Archie,

I did not find any suitable example implementation for this use case. So I think I'm not able to support the customer in his software development as this implementation is Apple specific. I would suggest a collaboration between the customer and Apple.
