Baud rate and data rate of UHF transmiter

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1101

I've read some documents about UFH transmitter ICs, and the two definitions "Baud rate" and "Data rate" make me confused ! As I know, Baud rate is the transmision speed of symbol, while data rate is the bit rate in digital system. In some cases, if we consider a symbol equivalent to a bit, so data rate is equal baud rate.  However, some UFH transmitter has the maximum baud rate is much more larger than the maximum data rate which is suggested.  Hope someone give me an explanation !
