Hello Holger,

We don't have an example for that MCU anymore. There used to be one for the TRF7960ATB (Not EVM) but it has been removed from the web due to being extremely out of date.

You can get our mainline NFC stack which runs on the TRF7970A/TRF7964A from www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sloa227

For just reader mode on TRF7960A and it's sub parts you can get firmware from: www.ti.com/lit/zip/sloc297

I saw this is with for the MSP430G2553. What EVM should I use with it?

Btw, if we do not offer suitable EVM and software for the TRF7960ATB then we should not offer it on the web!!!

Hello Holger,

Our recommended EVM platforms are on the TRF7970A which is where all the latest firmware has been developed. We don't really have any platforms for the 60A right now, it is an older device and while we are still selling it for years to come, all evaluation options offered will be on the TRF7970A which is the latest and greatest.

The DLP-7970ABP is the recommended EVM for the SLOC297.

FYI you could solder a 60A chip onto it instead by popping off the tin DLP case and replacing the 70A IC on it - which is what I did to test the 60A firmware works for SLOC297. :)

I will pass your feedback about the TRF7960ATB to product marketing.
