CC1190: Need optimized matching value of PA and LNA for 940MHz~944MHz with LAUNCHPAD_CC1310_CC1190_1_3_0(Evaluation Board)

Hello,

I understand that LAUNCHPAD_CC1310_CC1190_1_3_0(Evaluation Board) is optimized for 915MHz operation,

So, after testing your Evaluatin board , RF performace of 940MHz band seems to be poor than that of 915MHz band  

I need to improve RF performance of 940~944MHz frequency band

Can you recommend optimized values of PA in/out and LNA in/out matching ?

  • The Launchpad has a SAW filter with a given bandwidth. Check that your wanted frequency is within the SAW filter BW and if not, remove the SAW filter and test without.

  • Without saw filter, near field performance(about within 50meters) is ok,

    but far field test, RF performance drops dramatically even though the receiver RSSI is good ( -60dB )

    I suspect unwanted noise entering into RX path. 

    Can you recommend any Band Pass saw filter covering 940~950Mhz frequency?.

    if you can, inform me BPF maker and part number
