I have been scouring development kit software packages, as well as these forums, seeking the overrides, patches, and RF settings for proprietary mode for both radios CC1350 and CC1352R. I am setting up these radios to operate in the 900MHz - 930MHz range. Can you please provide both the 1Mbps and 2Mbps settings and associated patches for both these radios?
Thanks
Hi,
You can find RF settings including patches and overrides in SmartRF studio:

Cheers,
Marie H
I don't believe the RF settings, patches, and overrides for 1Mbps and 2Mbps for both the CC1350 and CC1352R radios are available as options in SmartRF Studio, hence my request for these setting. If I'm mistaken, please provide specifics on how to obtain these as these settings are outside the user options listed in SmartRF Studio.
Thanks
Marie H:
Thank you for trying to address my request. However, I have a design that I'm TRYING TO RELEASE with a previous operating rate of 4Mbps and wish to lower it to 2Mbps to increase sensitivity. I really need some help here either from you -OR- if you are unable, please direct me to SVS or some other expert who can help me. This forum communication is time consuming, and your responses are very unsatisfactory given the time and resources that are at stake here. I've received override, patches, and RF setting via this forum in the past and therefore opted to return to receive further technical help. Please advise
Hi,
For the CC1310/CC1350:
For 1.5 Mbps :
For 1 Mbps:
A previous thread answer by SVS ( https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/sub-1-ghz-group/sub-1-ghz/f/sub-1-ghz-forum/691307/ccs-cc1310-use-lower-speed-for-hsm-4mbps-at-1-or-2mbps ) summarises the limitations (i.e. the limit is 1.5 Mbps 4(G)FSK for Sub-1 GHz without the High-Speed patch) and gives links to two additional threads which are broken links. Those broken links are also for the theads mentioned above.
For the CC1312R/CC1352R:
Settings for 1 Mbps are already in SmartRF Studio 7 (Proprietary Mode -> "1 Mbps, 350 kHz Deviation, 2-GFSK, 2.2 MHz RX Bandwidth"). As an inital step you can change the operating frequency to 915 MHz and evaluate the performance; this would be the simplest option for the CC1352R as no settings for a higher data rate at Sub-1 GHz have currently been developed (for CC13x2 devices).
It may be that you need to tune settings depending on your requirements. For adjusting PHY settings, please see SWRA682 (Finding Settings for new PHYs for the CC13xx Family): https://www.ti.com/lit/swra682
As Marie states, however, settings outside of those provided in SmartRF Studio they have not be characterised so are not recommended.
Regards,
Zack
