Hello TI Team,

I am using TI 15.4 sensor and collector example which enables transfer of sensor data using sub 1 GHz. I am not quite happy with the range of communication therefore I want to increase it. does TI has any product that can help me extend the range of Sub1 GHz communication.

    Hi,

    If you can reduce the data rate then you will get a longer range distance.

    The antenna efficiency is quite low for this design due to the physical size. Make sure you keep the PCB in the plastic / rubber casing otherwise the antenna will be detuned.

    An external dipole antenna can always be connected to this board for longer range.

    If the above items are not sufficient, then you can always add the CC1190 which is a LNA/PA FEM. CC1310 CC1190 evaluation boards are available.
