Hi team,

May I ask you questions regarding manchester coded binary modulation?

1. My customer would like to set the protocol to manchester coded binary modulation(FSK/GFSK). May I know how to do it on CCS?

2. Could you please let me know the Where packets are encoded from? In general, Manchester encoding method encodes packets from Sync, but my customer would like to encode packets from Preamble in customer's use case. Is it possible to do it?

3. If 2 is possible, could you please let me know how to do it?

Hi Zack,

Thank you for your advice!. My customer was successfully able to generate the C file(smartrf_settings.c) from Smart RF studio, but he was not able to find out how to import the generated file to CCS(Code Composer Studio). Could you please kindly teach me?

To quote from it:

It is also possible to SmartRF Studio to configure the RF settings. In this case you will get files named smartrf_settings.c/h, corresponding to the ti_radio_config.c/h files generated by SysConfig.

This, along with the SimpleLink Academy training material Basic RX and TX (https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/content/cc13xx_cc26xx_simplelink_academy_7_40_01_00/_build_cc13xx_cc26xx_simplelink_academy_7_40_01_00/source/prop_rf/prop_01_basic/prop_01_basic.html#basic-rx-and-tx-getting-started-with-the-rf-driver-for-cc13xx-cc26xx-devices) should clarify how to implement the custom PHY settings using CCS. Task 3 focuses on this subject in particular.
