Our customer is interested in CC3135MOD, they are evaluating it with BOOSTXL-CC3135/MSP-EXP432E401Y boards now.

Customer is using CC3135 as AP and they are transmitting 1000 bytes data to the client at a certain cycle. Recently, they noticed the through-rate decreases in a cycle of about 15 seconds. Therefore, customer would like to know the reason why this behavior was observed. Can I have your expert’s advice/comments on this, please?

If customer should do any configuration, please let us know.

I summarized their inquiry and attached it (CC3135MOD_Evaluation_Result.pdf). if you need sniffer-log, customer will be able to share this log.

Your customer should check how is set WLAN scan policy.

Thank you for your comments. Customer is using SIMPLELINK-SDK-WIFI-PLUGIN, It seems they did not modify source code except IP configuration. I mean, customer is using SDK by almost default. Regarding “WLAN scan policy”, How should customer check it ? Is there any flag for this setting?

Hi Miyazaki,

I am not sure what is a default WLAN scan interval set by policy. Detail description of WLAN scan you can find at chapter 4.7 of SWRU455. Please make sure that your customer use latest Service Pack inside CC3135MOD.

If will be possible, you customer can capture NWP log ( SWRU455 chapter 20 ) together with log from air sniffer. These logs can provide detail information what is going on inside their system.
