Thank you for reaching out.

It may be relevant to verify whether the LPSTK-CC1352R would be more relevant for your project.

In case you want to keep using the CC2650STK, the temperature sensor used on the board is the TMP007. You will find a lot of code out there (both in the SDKs provided by TI and on public repository).
