BOOSTXL-CC3135: sl_WlanConnect return SL_API_ABORTED with STM32 F4 Host

The best way would be to compare the SPI transactions to those over the reference platforms (MSP432).

Also you can try to debug the sl_Connect (e.g. by stepping into the code with a debugger or by adding print messages) to find the root cause the the ABORT.

When I set break to it, it will return success, not sure it's releated to read timeout issue
in SimpleLinkFatalErrorEventHandler SL_DEVICE_EVENT_FATAL_NO_CMD_ACK is raised

when I capture the signal with SCK and MOSI when _SlDrvMsgReadCmdCtx called inside sl_WlanConnect, it shows not signal in MOSI but in SCK,

so adding proper delay or using break points between _SlDrvMsgWrite and _SlDrvMsgReadCmdCtx the call is success,

I have also change the SPI speed from 8M to 20M

Seems like you have a problem with the MOSI line (you must see this line toggle in response to the MISO/command). But I can't explain how it works with the breakpoint. The timeout for most commands response is 10 seconds (see SL_DRIVER_TIMEOUT_SHORT in driver.h) which should be more than enough.

Did you run any other command before the sl_WlanConnect? You should at least set the mode to "station" before ("sl_WlanSetMode(ROLE_STA);") since by default the device starts as AP.

I have mode check just like the demo project, also when I set to AP mode as compare test, with breakpoint it can success, showing AP wifi ssid again, in the porting guide, I saw it set the MOSI in PULL UP mode, but it will even make sl_Start success

it not a custom board yet, just wiring with CC3135 launchpad
