CC3235MODAS: Additional features not in the datasheet?

Hello,

We're curious if some of the features we're looking for are available in the CC3235MODAS despite not being in the datasheet. They are:

- WPA3 PSK

- Tunable roaming threshold and fast switching

- FIPS 140-3

- 802.11 ac, ar and/or ax

- 802.11k

- 802.11r

- Support for, and roaming across multiple SSIDs

- Ability to enter proxy info via firmware

- Ability to set IP, subnet mask, etc., via configurations

Please refer to the programmer's guide which includes features that were added through service packs.

- WPA3 is supported.

- FIPS is still at 140-2

- 802,11 ac/ax are not supported by CC3235 (11ax is supported by CC3301)

- Some Features from 11k and 11r are supported - see the different roaming configurations (in chapter 4 of the programmer's guide)

- Static IP setting is supported

(Idk what you meant in regards to the proxy info)

Hi Kobi,

Thank you for replying. I'm trying to find out what is meant by the proxy question. Is it possible to find out if FIPS 140-3 support will be added?

Also, how do I contact someone in the sales organization? My client wants to know the product lifetime and is hoping for 5 to 10 years of availability.

There are no plans to update to FIPS 140-3.

As mentioned before if the customer needs AX and longer lifetime and may consider the new CC3301 (but FIPS is not planned currently).
