Hi Sir,

Thanks for the continuous support.

We have verified the RSSI strength level ( dBm) with the above suggestion but we are getting some abnormal behavior from a8 to a6 power level change. You can find the below table for the details.

Can you please let me know that why we are getting big difference in RSSI strength even we just make the little difference in power level like a8 to a6 ?

Hi Sir,

We have verified the RSSI strength for different power level by nRF connect application.

You can find the below captures for your reference highlighted by yellow shade.

We are changing the power level form a8 to a6, we are getting almost 20 to 22 dB level change for Bluetooth range.

Can you please share some suggestion so we can resolve this issue ?

Hey Ronak,

Let me procure an EVM and run some tests in the lab to double check. In the meantime can you confirm the receiver sensitivity rating of the tool - the right hand plot just looks like error to me.

Hi Sir,

Have you verified the same in your EVK board ?

Yes you are right. At right side we have measured the RSSI strength at a6 power and at a6 power we are not getting multiple samples what you can see at left side capture at a8 power (1146 samples)

And that is the actual issue what we are facing that number of samples are too low at a6 power.

Can you please share your view to resolve this issue ?

Hey Ronak,

Yes I sampled an EVM and was prepping my test script and noticed that I linked the wrong guide on accident. Check out this guide (section 4.1.3.2) - https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru442b/swru442b.pdf. You will see the VS command structure is similar, but the parameter interpretation is different. Let me know if that clears up the problem.
