Assistance Needed with ZigBee Communication on CC2652R7 Launchpad

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2652R7

Hey Team,

I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding ZigBee wireless communication. I am currently working on the ZigBee coordinator project, specifically the Light and Switch - Zigbee Project Zero, utilizing the CC2652R7. I have followed the provided instruction in the link - (Link). The program built successfully, and I debugged the ZigBee coordinator (sample light) code in the controller.

However, when I tried to set up PUTTY with the correct settings ( All COM port and recommended baud rate), the terminal remains blank.  Could you kindly advise on the next steps to enable the output to display correctly in the PUTTY terminal?

Regards,

Keerthivasan

  • Hey Keerthivasan,

Please confirm the SDK and project directory you are using.  After programming the CC2652R7 device and opening the Application UART COM Port, did you try to reset the LaunchPad through the pushbutton at the top of the board (on the XDS110-side near the USB connector) or press the Enter or arrow keys on your keyboard?  Do you have a sniffer setup and does the green LED begin to blink when you press BTN-1?

    Regards,
    Ryan

  • Thanks for your suggestion, But still the Putty terminal remains blank. what should i do to resolve the issue.

  • Several relevant follow-up questions have not yet been addressed.  Make sure that the XDS110 RX/TX jumpers are populated and that your COM Port is identified as the "Application/User UART" on your PC.  You should only have the one LP-CC2652R7 device connected to your computer while debugging this setup.

    Regards,
    Ryan
