TINA/Spice/LMP7721: LMP7721 input capacitor

Part Number: LMP7721
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Dir Sir/Miss.

From LMP7721 specification, it tells me that the typical input capacitance of the LMP7721 is about 11pF, and I have download the spice model and run some simulation, I'm not sure whether the model has build this input capacitor in? and the capacitors are connecting between the inputs and the V- pin  right?

Thanks

Jack

  • Hello Jack,

The only information about the input capacitance of the LMP7721 is given in the applications section of the data sheet, which states that "the typical input capacitance of the LMP7721 is about 11pF." Based on how the data sheet is worded, I take that to mean the capacitance from either input pin to AC ground.

There is a file in the "LMP7721 PSPICE Model" download called "LMP7721.txt" which gives the design criteria of the model. According that file the input capacitance in the model is 15pF.
