INA168: Always positive bias current (into the device)?

Hello,

is the bias current of the INA168 always sinked into the device (in datasheet as positive), or is it possible that e.g. at low VCM also a current is sources by the IC?

Hello Philipp,

Thanks for considering to use Texas Instruments. We do not expect this device to source current when operated within the supply and common mode ranges specified in the "Recommended Operating Conditions" of the datasheet. Have you observed this device sourcing current? If so, can you elaborate on what your setup is?

Thanks' Patrick for the quick reply.

I did't see it source a current, but in our application in is possible that the VCM is close to 0V - below the VCM spec.
And I wonder, if in such a case it is possible that the IC sources a bias current when supplied with e.g. 3V3?
