AMC1200-Q1: Change the reference circuit's C3/C4 whether have influence the AMC1200's function

Part Number: AMC1200-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1200

Dears,

I had design a sample circuit that according to the reference application in the AMC1200's datasheet. and found the measurement result have some deviation with the actual,  I change the C3 and C4 from 10pF to 0.1uF, the error is eliminated. I want to know change the C3/C4 whether influence the AMC1200 performance or bring other negative influence.

Beat regards!

    Dears,

I used the reference circuit  to design a circuit in the  AMC1200 datasheet, and the measurement result of the circuit found the signal have an error, I change the C3 and C4 capacitance from 10pF to 0.1uF, so that the problem solving. I want to know that change C3/C4 whether influene the AMC1200's performance or have other negative influence. Many thanks!

    Best regards!

  • Hi Jacking,

I am curious to hear more about the results you had when testing the AMC1200 with the original 10pF capacitors. Changing the values to something larger is just going to limit the input bandwidth, it will not have an impact on the performance or functionality of the AMC1200.
  • Dear Tom,

Thanks for your reply. The circuit is applied on the BMS voltage detect, the detect voltage is about 80V, if I use the reference circuit parameter that the actual detect voltage is 72V. When I increase the C3/C4 values the detect voltage values is right. Could you help me analysis why lead to it?(PS: the signal frequency is about 3KHz)

    Beat regards!

  • Hi Jacking,

What are the resistor values in your voltage divider string?
