  • Hi,

Is 6657l gel file the same with 6455 gel file ? In the ccs_base folder, I can't find evm6455 folder, but I can find dsk6455 folder, and in it I can find DSK6455.gel and DSK6455_Mezzanine.gel . When I generate a HELLO example in CCS v5, and import the DSK6455.gel in the project , errors show up as follow:

C64XP_0: GEL Output: PLL1 has been configured.
    C64XP_0: 2: GEL StartUp Complete.
C64XP_0: GEL Output: Turn off cache segment
C64XP_0: GEL Output: Disable EDMA events
IcePick_C_0: Error: (Error -154 @ 0x0) One of the FTDI driver functions used to write data returned bad status or an error. (Emulation package 5.1.232.0)
IcePick_C_0: Unable to determine target status after 20 attempts
IcePick_C_0: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging
C64XP_0: JTAG Communication Error: (Error -154 @ 0x0) One of the FTDI driver functions used to write data returned bad status or an error. (Emulation package 5.1.232.0)
C64XP_0: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging

why did this happen? when I test connection , it reported no  problem.
