Hi,
For TIR1000 application, we need to connect it to a Optoelectronics. Do we suggest any specific part number of Optoelectronics? Or what is the guidle line to choose the proper Optoelectronics?
Thanks,
Antony

Hi ,
Please also help to check if we can support the other one as attached.
Thanks!

The TIR1000 can decode both active-high and active-low IR RXD signals. As for the IR TXD signal, both the TIR1000 and the HSDL-2301 use active high. The VOL/VOH/VIL/VIH levels of both devices are compatible for both 3 V and 5 V. Therefore, the HSDL-3201 (from HP Agilent Avago Broadcom, or any of the compatible clones from other manufacturers) works.
Hi,
THanks for your reply. We got more questions as below.
THanks!

The 16550 is an interface between the UART signals (TXD/RXD) and a CPU bus. I doubt that the APQ8009 has such an (ISA compatible) CPU bus; it certainly supports UART signals directly.
The 16× clock should be as synchronous as possible with the clock that the APQ8009 uses to drive its UART. If at all possible, the APQ8009 should be configured to route the appropriate clock signal to some GPIO. If the clock is generated elsewhere, see Determining Clock Accuracy Requirements for UART Communications.
Hi,
Customer said that there's no CPU bus interface (as shown in TL16C550C) from Qualcomm APQ-8009. What they plan to do is as the attached plot, and IT8110 can simulate the clock using PWM to 16XCLK pin . Do you think this is workable?
Thanks!
