Would you mind if we ask CD74AC283E?

We could not find followings as like the attachment file from the datasheet.
- Logic Diagram
- Truth Table
-Block Diagram

  • Hi Hirotaka-san ,

    I am afraid there is only this old datasheet which has no logic diagram nor truth table or more information . We are in the process of converting all the datasheets into new format which are insightful and answer most of the application questions for the end user. I will try to find this info for you but i dont think there is good chance of finding it .

    The basic function of the device CD74AC283 binary addition of two 4-bit binary words and a Carry-in to produce 4bit sum (S0-S3) plus Carry-out(Cout) according to the equation as below :
    Cin +(A0+B0) +2(A1 + B1) + 4(A2 + B2) + 8(A3 + B3) =
    = S1 + 2S2 + 4S3 + 8S4 + 16COUT
    All the additions are in binary as mentioned against them.

    As conclusion, you don't have Logic Diagram, Truth Table and Block Diagram, don't you?
    In this case, our customer needs Truth Table and Block Diagram at least.
    So, could you give us these, or could you let us whether the pdf file(which we indicated) is correct or not ?
    We have to hurry to reply it.

    Furthermore,
    CD74AC283E has the same fuction as CD74HC283(Logic Diagram, Truth Table and Block Diagram), doesn't it? 
    If it the same function, CD74HC283 is the cross-reference product of TC74HC283AFN(Toshiba logic) on TI'sPKO survice.

    So, at least, we think they have the same Truth Table and  Block Diagram.
    Is our recognition correct?

    Yes , your analysis is right . Since this TI device is a generic part which is supposed to be pin 2 pin compatible with competitor part , the truth table and logic block diagram would be same. The internal architecture (and/ or specs) may or may not be similar just to be differentiated from others.
