Hola,
I have a question about BQ24092 charging issue below:
Why used the CC mode with 3.5V charging voltage but it's not charging with the constant current? Thanks ~

I attached lithium battery spec as below.SP546270.pdf
The schematic is very blurry. Can you re-attache with higher resolution?
What is your test set up? How are you measuring the current?
Have you check on our EVM with the same battery?
Hola Jing,
Thanks for your prompt response and please see my reply below:
Below is the schematic for your kind information
My test setting is as below:
Pre-charge = 20% * CC = 200mA
CC = 1000mA
CV = 10% * CC = 100mA
ISET2 = GND = ISET setting
Remove R9 and connect ammeter at R9's left & right side, and measure the battery voltage from C9's VBAT.
From the schematic, it seems like you are connecting the TS pin to the battery thermistor in seris with a 10k resistor.
TS pin should either connect to the 10k-thermistor directly or connect to a 10k resistor to ground.
If TS is intentionally to connect to the battery thermistor, please remove R21 and replace it with a 0 ohm resistor.
Hola Jing,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I had tried to use below method to debug:
1. Disconnect between TS and battery and to let TS pin floating
2. Connect 10K ohm resistor with TS pin to the GND
3. To pull up TS pin
4. Connect 0ohm resistor with TS pin to the battery TH pad
As the above debug process and the charging current still cannot keep at the constant current when CC mode.
After that I will try to pull up ISET2 to see whether it can charging with the constant current.
Do you have another solution can help me to solve this urgent issue? Thank you ~
