Jon,
A few general comments:
As far as the IF and LO signals needing to be "in-phase", this is more or less correct. You do not want there to be a frequency difference between your IF signal and LO signal on any detectable scale, or else the output signal…

I have a customer about internal termination.
The OSCinP and OSCinM pin descriptions in the Pin Table on datasheet page 4 say "High impedance self-biasing pin."
But register R5 has a IPBUF_TERM bit which controls an internal…
Hi Joe,
The auto ramp of LMX2594 is doing exactly the same thing as shown in your Figure 1.
This plot is taken from LMX2572EVM user's guide. LMX2572 uses the same ramp mechanism as LMX2594. In the LMX2572 datasheet, section 8.1.7.2 has more detail explanation…
Hi Dean,
Thank you for your prompt reply. However, the LMX2572 does not behave like the datasheet.
If the differential termination is enabled (IPBUF_TERM=1) both P and N legs seem to terminate at a common-mode voltage of 0V (not Vcc/2). This means that…
Hello,
I checked output power with LMX2572EVM.
When fout is 6400MHz @ OUTx_PWR = 50, Pout is about 2dBm.
When fout is 3200MHz @ OUTx_PWR = 50, Pout is about 4.5dBm.
So, I think 'TEST CONDITIONS : fout = 6.4GHz of Pout@D/S p7' is incorrect, fout = 3.2GHz…

Dear Technical Support Team,
Datasheet shows following Pout(single-end output power) specification.
1.)Does this single-end output configuration mean "Figure 169" of "8.1.5.3" or transformer converts differential output…
Part Number: LMX2572 We are using the LMX2572 on a custom IC to produce a fixed 3.2 GHz or 4 GHz output. Our design uses the same schematic and almost the same layout as the LMX2572EVM eval board. We also program the PLL on the custom board with the same…
Part Number: LMX2572 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2594 , , Hi,
We're evaluating synthesizers for a wideband receiver. It's a superheterodyne receiver with two local oscillators, and the first one needs to tune to whatever frequency in a continuous…
Part Number: LMK61PD0A2 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK61PDEVM Is there a schematic and user guide or similar for the Reference Pro board with LMK61PD0A2 ?
I can only find that for a similar board LMK61PDEVM, similar, but not the same.
Regards
T…
