  • RE: LMC6484: Compatible Op Amp

    Marek Lis
    Marek Lis
If you need an ultra low input bias current, like max 4pA at 125C, LMC6484 is the only quad we may offer.  If you may tolerate higher IB, we have several quads in smaller packages: closest LMP7704 in TSSOP package as well as OPA4191, OP4192, OPA4196,…

Hi Paul, Take a look at the OPA4191. The 1k cost is a bit higher than the price you list. Cost is something you could discuss with your TI sales rep. www.ti.com/.../OPA4191 This is a very modern, high precision op amp featuring: Low Offset Voltage…

Yes, you could use OPA4192 and OPA4191, or their lower grades (less expansive) OPA4197 and OPA4196.

Hi Charles, I know what is going on. You are applying the OPA4188 amplifier section as a comparator, with a 2.21 V reference voltage applied to the inverting input. When you drive the non-inverting input to the 1.45 V level you forward bias one of the…

Alex, I've just tested the circuit replacing OPA4188 for the OPA4170. It performed as expected, without any distortion. I tested it with input frequencies as high as 40 kHz (4 times higher than the actual input maximum) and didn't get any distortion…
