OPA357: OPA357 Output Multiplexing using shutdown function

Part Number: OPA357
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MUX509, OPA837, OPA2837

Hi,

We need to sense 2 AC inputs (2Vpp, 2MHz). We have 2 options -

1. Use 2 separate OPA357s and tie their 2 outputs together and pass to next stage. We will use shutdown pins to control which OPA357 will be active. Off isolation is around 80dB. If we apply signal on output pin of OPA357 in shutdown, will it damage Op-Amp or cause any malfunctioning or any impact on other signal?

2. Or analog Multiplexer like MUX509 is better suited for this application?

Thank you.

With regards,
