Hello Support Team,

I have a Question to your PGA309 EVM Module. I saw that in the old Software Version, there is an Excel Spreadsheet included for calculating Registerparameters out of the calibration data (named PGA309_Calibration.xls).

Is there also a Spreadsheet for the new EVM Softare? Because Im not sure if I can still use the old spreadsheet, because also the board desine changed.

    HI Jonas,

    The PGA309DK Calibration Spreadsheet, (Version 1.2.4 from 2004) and the PGA309_Calibration.xls was part of the legacy PGA309DK evaluation kit. This was the early original demonstration kit.  The PGA309DK hardware and software has been obsoleted for a number of years, and is no longer supported.

    The PGA309EVM-USB replaced the PGA309DK  evaluation module.  The legacy PGA309DK software is not compatible with the current PGA309EVM-USB.

    On the new software, the user inputs the desired general PGA309 configuration settings including the desired output targets and the algorithm performs the calibration of a real or emulated sensor.  The new EVM includes a sensor emulator.  The new software algorithm uses an iterative process resulting in better post-calibrated accuracy. The PGA309EVM-USB contains additional built-in functionality so that the user experience is improved.  Switching to the new PGA309EVM-USB is recommended.

    Thank you for your message. Performing a direct calibration with PGA309EVM-SUB Software is very helpfull. But we at our location try to calculate the register parameters out of our own calibration using our calibration system. Calculating the correct values for the temperature Lookup-Table is quite hard. A equivalent Spreadsheet like the PGA_Calibration.xls in the old Version would help.

    HI Jonas,

    The legacy PGA309DK ( PGA309EVM) demonstration kit software including the PGA309_Calibration.xls calculator is available to download on on the link below.  This software works with Microsoft Excel versions 2000, XP and Windows XP (2003). The PGA309_DK and its software was obsoleted about 11 years ago (last revised on 2006).  The current PGA309EVM-USB hardware/software replaced the demonstration kit.  Unfortunately, the legacy PGA309EVM software is not compatible with current versions of Windows, and is no longer supported.  Your best bet may be to run this software on a system running on Windows XP/Excel 2000.
