I want to use OPA836IRUNT as a non-inverting amplifier with a gain of +1. I shorted Output (pin1) and inverting input (pin 2). What I should do with pin 6,7,8,9? Can I leave open these pins?

Hi Vlad,

Thanks, for the answer.
I looked into it, but I have a PCB where pins 1 and 2 are shorted, and pin 9 is not connected anywhere.
Could this be a problem?
Hi Vlad,
hard to say whether it's a typo and should mean a short between pin 1 and pin 2 in table 9-1 of datasheet, instead of pin 1 and pin 9. Or if the short between pin 1 and pin 9 is intended to prevent a complete floating of the pins 6, 7, 8 and 9. Both would make sense. So let's wait what TI is saying to all this.
Kai
Hello Vlad,
Kai is correct it should be a short between pin 1 and 2 as you initially have the setup. You may leave pin 6 to 9 on the RUN package floating.
Thank you,
Sima
