Is the input offset voltage maximum value indicated in the datasheet in both directions or is it only in the positive direction?

Are the two op-amps in the IC separate of each other in terms of input offset voltage or are they related to each other for that?

The offset voltage can go in either direction (see figure 11).

The two opamps are mostly independent.

The two op-amps in a package are on the same die aren’t they? Shouldn’t they share the same characteristics if they’re both on the same die?

Hey Lindsey,

While it is true that both channels in an op amp are on the same die, the reason for offset is a manufacturing mismatch between the input transistors. While some process variables will shift larger over a wafer and smaller in local areas on a wafer, the input transistor mismatch is random across the wafer.
