TLV316: acceptable range for gain-bandwidth product

The datasheet for the TLV316 only lists a "typical" value of 10 MHz for the gain-bandwidth product.  I measured this parameter on several parts and got values of around 2.5 MHz (see the example image below - the gain is 0.69 at 3.5 MHz - 0.69*3.5MHz = 2.42MHz).  This feels like it's pretty far away from the "typical" value, but the datasheet doesn't provide any insight into how much variability should be expected for this parameter.

Can you provide any information on what a reasonable range would be for the gain-bandwidth product?  Does a measured value of 2.5 MHz indicate that there may be an issue with my measurement method?

    Bandwidth can vary typically by 30% on devices. However, even if the device is operating at the extremes, I don't think that would be the issue.

    A graph that's not shown in the TLV316, but is found in our newer devices like the TLV9061 (as seen in the image below), show that as you increase the frequency, the maximum output voltage decreases due to hitting the limitations of the op-amp. 

      

    This would be something that simulation would see. Personally, I always start with building a simulation model of your circuit and see if the results are what you expect before building the circuit out!
