TL331B-Q1: Is the die in this part the same as in the non-automotive TL331?

Thanks for the post. No, the older TL331 is a different die than the TL331B-Q1 die. What differences are you seeing in the behavior?

From our test department: 

We are monitoring the comparator outputs (6 comparators, U45-U51) via the PIC. Since only U50 is throwing a fail this tells me it is likely a response time issue with 31BQ marked parts. We are failing test with the part marking “31BQ”, but the same part with marking “T1IL” is passing.

So initially, it seems like a timing issue.  Still investigating.

Sorry to hear that Bill. Is the response time slower than expected? When you can, please share schematic and waveforms of your inputs and outputs.
