OPA2991: Difference between OPA2991 and TLV9152

Part Number: OPA2991
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9152

Hi team,

What are the main differences between OPA2991 and TLV9152?

Is TLV9152 just a 16V version of OPA2991?

Regards,

Ohashi

  • Hello Ohashi-san,

The main differences between these two op amps are the supply voltage range and the web 1ku price.

  • Hi Ryoma,

the maximum supply voltage of OPA2991 is 40V and a special protection circuit against too high differential input voltages is used:

The TLV9152, on the other hand, has a maximum supply voltage of "only" 16V and can withstand a differential input voltage of 16V without the need of this special protection circuit.

The difference can also be seen from the differential input capacitances: The TLV9152 shows a differential input capacitance of 3pF, while the more complex circuit of OPA2991 results in a differential input capacitance of 9pF.
