Hi,

Can i use ALM2402 instead of a Darlington transistor for current amplify? In my old circuit there are 2N6301 and 2N6299 for current amplifing, can i change these transistors with ALM2402?

    The answer is yes, but we need additional information about the application. 

    We have two versions of ALM2402, namely ALM2402-Q1 and ALM2402F-Q1, where ALM2402-Q1 may provide a slightly more current. 

    The use of darlington transistor is to provide current gains. If you are using darlington transistors to construct Class-AB output stage, the integrated ALM2402-Q1 may have certain advantages and disadvantages. If the application is working below 400 mA range per/channel (2 power amplifier per ALM2402 package) at room temperature, then ALM2402 may work. If the application requires more current, then 2N6301 and 2N6299 are capable to delivery a lot more load current than 0.4A. So it all depends on the design requirements.
