INA209: IBIS Model

Part Number: INA209
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, , INA226

Hi Experts,

Our customer is looking for the INA209AIPWR IBIS model urgently. Please share if available and can be shared with the customer. Thank you,

Best regards,
Gerald

  • Gerald,

We typically do not generate IBIS models for our current sense amplifiers. We support our newer devices through Sysconfig, which will help  the customer quickly generate initialization code for registers and drivers for the device.

  • Hi Carolus,

Perhaps you can send info about the pin the customer needs.

He wants to simulate an I2C bus with fifteen INA209.
Can you send the electrical characteristics of the I2C SCLK pin (pin 12)?
He needs to simulate the I2C clock. Perhaps you can send me the following electrical characteristics:

    .subckt Fast_Rcv Vin Vcc Gnd
    Cin Vin Gnd 3p
    Rin Vin Gnd 1k
    RPWR Vcc Gnd 100k
    .ends

With this receiver info I can make the simulations.
    Thank you and best regards,
    Gerald
  • Gerald,

Let me see if this data is available and I will follow up shortly.

  • Gerald,

Sorry for the delay here. I spoke with design and they said a good workaround here for the customer is they may simply be able to use the INA226 IBIS model in their setup for the I2C lines. Here's their feedback:

"I don’t know much about IBIS modelling but the pin capacitance wouldn’t change much from device to device. The pinout of 209 and 226 is different so not sure if that matters in IBIS modelling but if all they care about is capacitances then it should match 226."
