Thank you for your question. The maximum gain that can be set on a differential amplifier will depend on the desired bandwidth of the system, as well as the input parameters.

Figure 7-1 demonstrates the bandwidth of the THS4551 at different gain values. For voltage feedback amplifiers, gain and bandwidth have an inverse relationship, meaning the higher the gain setting, the lower the bandwidth. In general, the largest gain value we demonstrate in the datasheet is going to be 10 V/V, but a higher gain can be put on the amplifier as long as you are not violating the input conditions and output common-mode conditions outlined on pages 6, 8 and 11 of the datasheet (values depend on supply voltage).

If additional bandwidth is needed, consider the THS4541 or for a device with a wider supply voltage range for wider output swing, THS4561.

Thanks for the reply , In my case we are using an 1Khz signal and configured an gain of 40 . Will it work smoothly on this configuration and if not for 1khz signal what is the minimum suggested Gain we can keep for this . 

1kHz will be fine at a gain of 40 for the THS4551, an alternate might be the THP210 precision FDA that would also work.
