OPA453: Footprint type

Hi Experts,

Our customer would like to ask if do we provide any recommended land pattern for given MPN? Or do we suggest desired drill size for the lead insertion with enough copper annular ring?

Because if they use any standard tool with mechanical dimension, then all circuit pads design for the leads gets short.

For this concern, I provided the library file to customer for him to refer.

Then I received feedback from the customer as shown below:

As per your answer i was looking at the Footprint in Ultra library and found a difference .

Mean as in Datasheet it was shown Inline leads whether Footprint prepared is with spread leads !!!

So , do you supply components like speed leads for MPN : OPA453TA ?

Or its just a recommendation for design ?

Please help advise. Thank you.

The dimensions of these parts are specified in the mechanical drawing. These are mechanical specification, so the CAD designer should add the standard tolerance margins to the land pattern. The typical added tolerance of annual ring margins are approx. 4-8 mils minimum, and it is up to CAD foot print designer to make the call.

If you want to have the specific reference, please go to Altium tool, and import the part number and see how our engineer is designed for the land pattern.

I think that we only manufacture what is listed in the datasheet or the drawing. Customer can make splayed leads with their own pattern, if the parts are not available in TI E-store. Here is the current stock availability.
