OPA2188: The relationship between op amp input stage and op amp parameters

Could you please tell me if the input stage of OPA2188 is FET or Bipolar? 

Also, are there any common and general ways to distinguish these two kinds of stages?

  • The OPA2188 is a chopper amplifiers with auto-calibration frequency of 650kHz  - thus, its input stage is implemented with CMOS transistors.  However, it input stage uses back-to-back input protection diodes (see below) that may become forward biased with large step input signal or when output is pushed against one of its rails.
