OPA328: it's better than AD8639ARZ ?

Part Number: OPA328
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2187, OPA2387

Hi Sir

AD8639 is design for 100 ppm DC meter,

now we want to design a 20 ppm solution the OPA328 is right solution?

thanks

  • Hi Chen,

AD8639 is an auto-zero amplifier with GBW of just 1.35MHz while OPA328 is a package-level trimmed amplifier with GBW of 40MHz - thus they are vastly different amplifiers.

If you need the high precision amplifier, you should instead consider a low 5V supply OPA2387 (GBW of 5.7MHz) with max offset of +/-2uV and max drift 0.012uV/C or 36V supply OPA2187 (GBW of 5MHz) with max offset of +/-4uV and max drift of 0.012uV/C.
