LM393: EOL LM393M/NOPB

Part Number: LM393

Hello team,

Is the LM393M/NOPB a drop in replacement for LM393M?

As LM393M/NOPB  is old part, what is the lifetime of LM393M/NOPB: LM393-N | Buy TI Parts | TI.com?

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Wouter Kragt

  • Hello Wouter,

Yes. The /NOPB designates the RoHS "green" version (lead finish). Otherwise they are electrically the same.

The ex-National (-N) parts have had their fab transferred..so at this time there is no plan to obsolete these older devices.

But this is subject to change...so no long-term guarantee. I would try to change over to the LM393B family.
