OPA855: Open loop Gain

Part Number: OPA855

Hello,

I have got a question regarding the Texas Instruments operational amplifier OPA855. For my master thesis in electrical engineering I need to design a wide bandwidth differential voltage probe. For the design process and stability calculations I want to set up an equation for the open loop gain of the OPA855. Figure 7-10 in the datasheet shows phase and magnitude. Unfortunately, zeros and poles above 1 GHz are hard to identify and I wanna ask if there is an equation available describing phase and magnitude or a specification providing position and order of poles and zeros of the amplifier?

  • Hi Peer,

Unfortunately, this is not available data as this data is captured from simulated transistor models used in the design of this part. As this pole/zero behavior is set by the simulated transistors modeling silicon level characteristics, due to process variation we can expect these pole/zeros to not always be exact for every device.

    Best Regards,

    Ignacio
