LM741QML: AD741SH replacement

I need a replacement for the Analog Device part number AD741SH. I am looking at the Texas Instrument LM741H which comes in two version the LM741-MIL or LM741QPL. Which of these two versions meets and/or exceed the environmental and functional parameters of the AD741SH?

Hey Mike,

LM741QML is tested to conform to MIL-STD-883, while LM741-MIL is a similar device that conforms to a legacy mil std, with fewer tested parameters.

All the tested parameters are detailed here in the datasheet:

LM741-MIL: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm741-mil.pdf

If you don't require the tested performance of each of those parameters, which, looking at the AD741SH device datasheet, there aren't nearly as many min/max parameters, it will be a cheaper and sufficient option to go with the LM741-MIL.

Some suppliers are having a little trouble identifying the LM741QML Are the LM741QML and the LM741H/883 the same part?

LM741QML is a part number. Its orderable part number in the TO-CAN package is LM741H/883.

LM741-MIL is a part number. Its orderable part number in the TO-CAN package is LM741H or LM741H/NOPB.
