AMC3301: Input Signal Bandwidth

Part Number: AMC3301

Hi team,

I have a customer with the below question on the AMC3301. Let me know what you think and thanks in advance for your help!

"I do have a requirement for my current amplifier development that you could perhaps help me with. I would like to use an isolated precision fully differential amplifier for AC current shunt measurements, and I am hoping to use the AMC3301.

What I was hoping to find out is what the input signal bandwidth is for this amplifier?

Of course, let me know too if there's a better part to suggest (or other possibilities)

Marco

  • Hi Marco,

The input signal bandwidth is 1MHz, but the bandwidth of the output is limited by the integrated digital filter to the value specified in the datasheet.

What kind of application is this for?

If higher bandwidth is required an isolated modulator or discrete ADC + digital isolator can be considered.
