The AMC1300 has differential outputs. I need as single ended signal and don't want to add another op amp. I don't need the full output range or gain. Can I use only one output (eg. OUTP)? Essentially, the question boils down to how flat is the common mode output voltage vs input voltage?
A second question: what is the purpose of the typically 10 ohm series resistors on the inputs? Are they necessary?
Hi Carl,
The common mode output voltage is +/-50mV on 1.44V. You could do an offset calibration.
These resistors are a part of the antialiasing filter for the input.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Best regards,
Eva
Thanks.
My application is pretty tolerant of errors at the low input and can tolerate 50 mV of voltage bias.
Just to be sure, is it okay to leave the other output pin floating?
